Here is my first entry for the 'Less is More' Challenge !
The brief is:
Week 64 Theme - How Charming
As we are being sponsored by The Ribbon Girl this month, we thought
that we would have a challenge whereby you could use some of the
products you might find in her store.
She has a mighty array of charms, perfect for that subtle embellishment
on a Clean and Simple card, plus all manner of wonderful ribbons and
trims.
Just as we don't always make One Layer Cards, we don't always want to
make cards completely devoid of embellishment, the key is to keep it
minimal... to enhance not overpower.
SO our theme this week is
How Charming!
Make and/or use a charm on your project
I embossed Ranger Polysparkle powder onto a sweet heart stamp I had, then made a little frame and stamped Love you onto a cream circle, very subtley distressed the edge and threaded my little silver heart onto red organza ribbon, threaded it through a little hole and stuck on a satin ribbon!
I am a complete novice at blogging so hope very much it is seen by the great team there! Now how do I turn off word verification .......may need a cuppa and chocolate biscuit in order to get brain going ;).I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
Love from Alex
Hi Alexandra, although your card doesn't have a lot of white space, it's a beautiful simple design and I love those embossed hearts.
ReplyDeleteI also love how you have attached your charm... I have some of those discs in a drawer somewhere, I think I should get them out and have a go at using some!
Thanks so much for joining us and we really hope to see you again for our next challenge.
